"I get Inspiration for my paintings from many things; music, a favorite movie, old family photographs, chilhood memories, walks in the woods. I love black and white photography with its strong element of light and dark, and the mood it creates.

I don't go too far into fantasy with my work, although it does evoke imagination. I like to be more grounded in reality, having at times a sense of humor, feelings of nostalgia and a familiar connection for those who view it.Though a realist in my artistic expression, I hope my work will open the imagination and give viewers a time to dream.Some people say they can read whole stories into my paintings.
