Karrie Evenson is an artist from Northwest Arkansas, originally from St. Louis Missouri. She began her journey through art as a child, realizing she had a passion for creating. Her lessons continued through high school and some college.
Karrie has continued working on her paintings and educating herself on art as much as possible while attending classes and workshops often. She is the host of the television show "Karrie on Canvas", which airs weekly on Channel 22 Jones TV.
My paintings are my voice, my feelings, and my dreams. Each one has played a role in my life in one way or another. They represent a particular mood that I want the viewer to not only see, but feel. When I paint I am alive, free, and home.
Each time I paint, I am releasing a little of who I am on canvas. My work is always expressing the internal spirit, embracing myself as a woman and sharing that with the world.
